Background

My first career was in education. I was able to learn about human development - cognitive, social, behavioral. This experience led me to change my path to more deeply explore the nature of human beings and the value of curiosity. This drove me to commit to earning a second master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University. I worked in community mental health for three years and I found that working with individual adults felt like the best fit. Beyond that, utilizing my background in education and family systems enhanced my work with individual adults.

Treatment Modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems
